Arrive Chennai
Arrival at Chennai airport. On arrival transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.
Chennai – Mahabalipuram (55 Km – 1 Hour)
Breakfast at hotel. Morning city tour of Chennai including Fort St. George, Govt. Museum, Valluvarkottam, Snake Park, Kapaleeswarar Temple and Marina Beach. (Govt. Museum will be closed on Fridays. Later drive to Mahabalipuram.
Afternoon city tour of Mahabalipuram including Arjuna’s Pennance, Shore Temple and Krishna Mandapam. Overnight at the Hotel.
Mahabalipuram – Kanchipuram – Mahabalipuram (160 Km, 4 Hours)
Morning depart for Kanchipuram. It was the historical capital of the Pallavas during the 7th – 9th centuries. It is also famous for hand-woven silk fabrics and saris. Return to Mallalapuram.
Evening relax on the beach. Overnight at the Hotel.
Mahabalipuram – Pondicherry (155 Km – 3 Hours)
after breakfast drive to Pondicherry
. Pondicherry is synonymous with French Heritage in India Afternoon visit Sir Aurobindo’s Ashram set up in the year 1926 by Sri Aurbindo Ghose. His philosophy is derived in a combination of yoga and modern science. Overnight at the Hotel.
Pondicherry – Chidambaram – Tanjore (170 Km – 4 Hours)
Morning leave for Tanjore enroute visiting Chidambaram. Visit Nataraja temple in Chidambaram. Continue drive to Tanjore and on arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Brihadeshwara Temple. Overnight at the Hotel.
Tanjore – Trichy – Madurai (197 Km, 3.5 Hours
Post breakfast visit Trichy. Visit the most famous land mark of this bustling town Rock fort Temple Also visit Srirangam Temple after drive to Madurai. Overnight at the Hotel.
Madurai
Breakfst at the hotel after city tour of Madurai covering the famous Meenakshi Temple, Tirumala Naik Palace and Gandhi Museum. The temple is famous for its gigantic gateway which is 49 mts. high. Overnight at the Hotel.
Madurai – Periyar (140 Km, 4 Hours)
Morning leave for Periyar. On arrival check in at the hotel. Afternoon enjoy Boat cruise which is the best option to experience the wilds of Periyar Sanctuary. Overnight at the Hotel.
Periyar – Alleppey (130 Km, 4 Hours)
After early breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Alleppey. On arrival embark the house boat.
Enjoy a memorable houseboat ride on enchanting backwaters of Alappuzha to explore its breathtakingly beautiful surroundings and the fascinating Kerala countryside. All meals will be served on board. Overnight onboard the House boat.
Alleppey – Cochin (60 Kms 02 Hours)
Enjoy your breakfast in houseboat and continue the morning cruise in houseboat, checkout and Drive to Cochin, Afternoon half day sightseeing of Cochin. Cochin has one of the best natural harbors in the country. Afternoon city tour of Kochi covering Dutch Palace Museum, Jewish Synagogue, Francis Church and Chinese Fishing Net. Evening enjoy one of the classical dances of South India, known as Kathakali. Overnight stay at hotel.
