Day 1

Arrive Cochin

Arrive Cochin. Upon arrival transfer to Hotel. After noon proceed for city tour of Cochin. Comprising the visits to the Dutch Palace, the Jewish Synagogue – (which remains closed on Saturdays) St. Francis Church and the Santa Cruz Basilica. While driving along the coastline, at the Harbour’s mouth, one can also view the unique and still-in-use “Chinese Fishing Nets” which were introduced by the Chinese traders in the 14th Century. The tour ends in the Fort Kochi area where you can walk through the historical Dutch and Portuguese buildings. Some parts of this nearly 500-year-old Fort are still amazingly well preserved. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2

Cochin – Periyar

Morning leave for Periyar. On arrival check in at the hotel. Periyar is known for its Wildlife Sanctuary which is famous for its dense evergreen, semi-evergreen, moist deciduous forests and savanna grass lands. It is home to herds of elephants, sambar, tigers, gaur, lion-tailed Macaques and Nilgiri Langurs.The splendid artificial lake formed across the Periyar River adds to the charm of the park. The greatest attractions of Periyar are the herds of wild elephants that come down to play in the lake. It is also considered a heaven for natural spices such as black pepper, cardamom, cinnamon and clove. Afternoon enjoy Boat cruise which is the best option to experience the wilds of Periyar Sanctuary. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 3

Periyar – Munnar

Post breakfast drive to Munnar. Upon arrival, check-in at hotel.
Munnar – is the beautiful hill station housing world’s highest tea-growing estates. Afternoon visit the popular tea estates. Overnight at hotel

Day 4

Munnar – Ooty

Post breakfast drive to Coonoor to board world famous toy Train to Ooty. Arrive Ooty and transfer to hotel. Later walk around lake and local market. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5

In Ooty

Post breakfast Half day sightseeing tour of Ooty. Visit the Botanical Gardens, established in 1847. It has a large variety of exotic and colorful plants. Also visit the Lake where boating is a favorite pastime and Doddabetta Peak, the highest point in the Nilgiri mountains (2623 meters high) offering spectacular views of the valleys below. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6

Ooty – Mysore

Post breakfast check –out form the hotel and drive to Mysore. Later proceed for city tour of Mysore including Srirangapatnam – Tipu’s palace, fort, and Sri Ranganathaswami temple. In the evening, take a look at Mysore palace, Jaganmohana palace, art gallery, Chamundi hills, and Devraja market. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Overnight at the hotel

Day 7

Mysore – Hassan

Post breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Mysore including Mysore Palace. Philomena’s Church, Chamundi Hill, Bull,Maharaja’s Palace, Art Gallery. Later drive to Hassan enroute visit Srirangapatnam. On arrival check–in hotel. Overnight at Hotel

Day 8

Hassan – Hospet

Post breakfast proceed for sightseeing of Belur and Halebid , Belur – The first capital of the Hoysala dynasty, the Chennakesava temple stands near the centre of the city.
Halebid, the ancient capital of the Hoysala Empire was founded in 11th century and subsequently destroyed in early 14th century. Amongst the remains is the great Hoysalesvara temple, largest of the Hoysala temples. It was started in 1121 and remained unfinished even after 86 years. Later drive to Hospet on arrival check –in in hotel. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 9

Hospet

Post breakfast Proceed for Sightseeing of Hampi. It is located on the banks of the Tungabhadra River with a backdrop of majestic rock boulders and was the capital of the Vijayanagara Kingdom. The 15th century Chandramauleshwar Temple is centrally located in Hampi and is one of the site’s most prominent architectural buildings. Vithala Temple is noted for its extraordinary pillars with the animated carvings on it. Overnight at Hotel.

Day 10

Hospet – Patadakal – Aihole – Badami

Post breakfast check–out from the Hotel and drive to Badami enroute visit Aihole and Pattadakal. Situated on the left bank of the Malaprabha River Pattadakal is a world heritage centre having10 major temples representing early Chalukyan architecture. Visit Aihole which is famous as the “cradle of the Indian Architecture”. Later continue towards BadamiOn arrival check in hotel .Overnight at hotel.

Day 11

Badami – Goa

Post breakfast check–out form the hotel and proceed for sight of Badami to visit Rock–cut cave Temples, Gateways, Forts, Inscriptions & sculptures. Climb a flight of steps to reach the ancient caves – all hewn out of sand stone on the precipice of a hill. Also a must see are Bhutanatha temples. Badami also has the eighteen inscriptions ranging from 06th to 09th century.
In the afternoon drive to Goa. Arrive Goa and check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel.

Day 12

Goa

Breakfast at the Hotel. Day at Leisure. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 13

Goa – Mumbai

Breakfast at the Hotel, later transfer to airport to board the flight for Mumbai On arrival proceed for sightseeing of Mumbai visiting the Prince of Wales Museum built in grand Indo Saracenic style, drive past Marine Drive, Mumbai’s most popular seaside promenade, and see the Kamla Nehru Park and Hanging Gardens on the slopes of the Malabar hills, offering a nice view of the marine lines and the Chowpatty beach. Visit the Jain temple, Mani Bhawan where Mahatma Gandhi used to stay and the Dhobi Ghat. Later in time transfer to airport to board the flight for onward destination.
