HARIDWAR – BARKOT BY ROAD (APPX 210KMS / 7-8HR)
DRIVE TO JANKICHATTI/PHOOLCHATTI (APPX 38 KMS) AND TREK TO YAMUNOTRI – BARKOT (6KMS ONE SIDE)
Early morning, Drive to Jankichatti/Phoolchatti, and begin the trek to Yamunotri which is approximately 6kms. This can be done by various ways such as by walk, by horse or by Doli At Yamunotri take a dip at the origin of River Yamuna and then you may cook rice in the hot water spring.
Later back to Barkot for overnight stay In summer the temperature remains around 17 – 18 degrees maximum and 09 – 10 degrees minimum.
BARKOT – UTTARKASHI BY ROAD (APPX 90KMS/4HR)
Morning drive to Uttarkashi. Arrive Uttarkashi and visit Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Shakti temple. Later check in at the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Uttarkashi. The temperature in Uttarkashi remains in the range of 30 – 35 degree Celsius during the day in summers.
UTTARKASHI – GANGOTRI – UTTARKASHI (100KMS/ APPX 3-4 HRS. EACH SIDE)
This day we will have to leave for Gangotri early in the morning enroute stop at Gangnani in order to take a holy dip in hot water spring or Garam Kund. Continue your drive to Gangotri through beautiful Harsil Valley famous for its nature beauty and for the majestic views of the Deodar trees, and mountains. Arrive Gangotri and upon arrival take a dip in the sacred River Ganges which is known as Bhagirathi at this point.
Also visit Kedar Ganga Sangam where Kedar Ganga meets Bhagirathi and perform your pooja. Spend some time to admire the beauty and sanctity of this place. Later return to Uttarkashi for overnight stay
UTTARKASHI – GUPTKASHI (220KMS/APPX 8-9HR)
Morning drive to Guptkashi. On the way you will get to see the beautiful river Mandakini at Tilwara. Arrive Guptkashi and check in at the Hotel. Evening visit Ardh Narishwar Temple. Overnight stay at hotel in Guptkashi. The temperature in Guptkashi remains in the range of 25 – 30 degree Celsius during the day in summers.
GUPTKASHI – KEDARNATH (19KMS TREK AND 30 KMS DRIVE)
Morning drive to Sonprayag. From there start your trekking for Kedarnath. You can also travel by Pony or Doli Arrive Kedarnath and visit the temple. Overnight at Kedarnath.
KEDARNATH – GUPTKASHI (19KMS TREK AND 30 KMS DRIVE)
Early morning visit Kedarnath temple for Abhishek of Lord Shiva at 04:45 Hrs.
After darshan trek back to Sonprayag. From there drive to Guptkashi. Overnight at Guptkashi
GUPTKASHI – BADRINATH (215KMS/ APPX 7HR)
Morning drive to Badrinath. Arrive Badrinath and check in at the hotel. Afternoon if time permits visit famous temples Sesh Netra Temple, Urvashi Temple and Charanpaduka. Evening witness Aarti ceremony at world famous Badrinath Temple of Lord Vishnu. Overnight stay at hotel in Badrinath.
BADRINATH – RUDRAPRAYAG (160KMS / APPX 06 HRS. APPX)
There are several hot water springs in Badrinath. Early morning, have a dip in one of the Taptkund of hot water spring and visit the temple for darshan of Shri Badrivishal.
Later drive back to Rudraprayag enroute visiting the confluence of the rivers Alaknanda and Dhauliganga, Joshimath which is also the winter seat of Badrinath. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel in Rudraprayag.
RUDRAPRAYAG – HARIDWAR/RISHIKESH (140KMS / APPX 4-5HR)
Morning drive to Rishikesh, also known as the Yoga Capital of the world.
After arrival transfer to Airport / Railway Station.
