PAMUKKALE

Pamukkale, one of the most important districts of Denizli in terms of culture and tourism, is home to tourist attractions such as the travertines of Pamukkale and the ancient city of Hierapolis, which are inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List as natural and archaeological sites. Other important points in Pamukkale include: the Karahayıt thermal waters, the Denizli cable car and the Bağbaşı plateau, Akhan Caravanserai, the lavender gardens of Gözler, Seyir Tepesi and Çamlık Park, as well as its museums, ecotourism destinations and plateaus. You can also visit Laodikeia (Laodicea on the Lycus), another important ancient city of Denizli, with magnificent structures and which was once home to one of the Seven Churches of Asia mentioned in the Book of Revelation. Laodikeia is located 15 km from Pamukkale.

TAKE A WALK ON THE KARŞIYAKA COAST
